Can you Trust God?

PSALM 37:25

25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

PSALM 37:1-9

1 Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; 2 for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: 6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. 8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret - it leads only to evil. 9 For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

Can you trust God?

1. BECAUSE OF HIS PROVEN TRACK RECORD.

PSALM 23:1-6

1 The LORD is MY shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes ME lie down in green pastures; He leads ME beside quiet waters. 3 He restores MY soul; He guides ME in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with ME; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort ME. 5 You prepare a table before ME in the presence of MY enemies; You have anointed MY head with oil; MY cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and loving kindness will follow ME all the days of MY life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

2. BECAUSE OF HIS PROVEN CHARACTER.

ISAIAH 46:3-4

3 “Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. 4 Even to your old age and grey hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
