JOSHUA 1:1-4
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD said to
Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ servant: 2 “Moses my servant is dead. Now
then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into
the land I am about to give to them - to the Israelites. 3 I will give you
every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses. 4 Your
territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river,
the Euphrates - all the Hittite country - to the Mediterranean Sea in the
west.

1. Remember that GOD IS WITH YOU.
JOSHUA 1: 5; 9
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I
was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake
you.9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be
afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you
wherever you go.”
PSALM 139:1-12
1 You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. 2 You know
when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar
with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD,
know it completely. 5 You hem me in behind and before, and you
lay your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain. 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your
presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed
in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I
settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide
me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, “Surely the
darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like
the day, for darkness is as light to you.
EPHESIANS 4:7-10
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8
This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many
captives and gave gifts to his people.” 9 (What does “he ascended”
mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions?
10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the
heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)
EPHESIANS 1:22-23
22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head
over everything for the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him
who fills everything in every way.
JOHN 14:21
21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is
he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved
by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself
to him.
PSALM 27:4-6
4 One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may
dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on
the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. 5 For in
the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will
hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a
rock. 6 Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who
surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the LORD.
1. Remember that GOD IS WITH YOU.
2. Remember that GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISES.
JOSHUA 1:3-6
3 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised
Moses. 4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and
from the great river, the Euphrates -all the Hittite country-to the
Mediterranean Sea in the west. 5 No one will be able to stand against
you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with
you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and
courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I
swore to their ancestors to give them.
