LUKE 13:1-5
1 Now there were some present at that time who told
Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had
mixed with their sacrifices. 2 Jesus answered, “Do you
think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all
the other Galileans because they suffered this way? 3 I
tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all
perish. 4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in
Siloam fell on them - do you think they were more
guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? 5 I tell
you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

ECCLESIASTES 9:12 NLT
People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in
a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.
JOB 14:1-2
1 “Mortals, born of woman, are of few days and full of trouble.
2 They spring up like flowers and wither away; like fleeting
shadows, they do not endure.PSALM 39:4-5
4 “Show me, LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let
me know how fleeting my life is. 5 You have made my days a
mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you.
Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure.
