PHILIPPIANS 3:4-7 MSG
4 You know my pedigree: 5 a legitimate birth, circumcised on the
eighth day; an Israelite from the elite tribe of Benjamin; a strict and
devout adherent to God's law; 6 a fiery defender of the purity of my
religion, even to the point of persecuting Christians; a meticulous
observer of everything set down in God's law Book. 7 The very
credentials these people are waving around as something special, I'm
tearing up and throwing out with the trash - along with everything else
I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ.PHILIPPIANS 3:8-10 MSG
8 Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my
life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my
Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is
insignificant - dog dung. I've dumped it all in the trash so that I could
embrace Christ 9 and be embraced by him. I didn't want some petty,
inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules
when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ - God's
righteousness. 10 I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ
personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his
suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself.PSALM 32:1-6
1 Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose
sins are covered. 2 Blessed is the one whose sin the LORD
does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.
3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my
groaning all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was
heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of
summer. 5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not
cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions
to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be
found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach
them.PSALM 32:7
7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
1. He is a PERSONAL hiding place.
2. He is an EXCLUSIVE hiding place.
3. He is a SAFE hiding place.
PSALM 32:7

me with songs of deliverance.
