ISAIAH 55:8-9
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways,” declares the LORD. 9 “As the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
God is UNFATHOMABLE.
ROMANS 11:33 NASB
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and
knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments
and unfathomable His ways!ROMANS 11:33-34 NASB
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and
knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments
and unfathomable His ways! 34 For who has known the
mind of the Lord or who became His counselor?
God is UNPREDICTABLE.
JOHN 3:1-7
1 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of
the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we
know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could
perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied,
“Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are
born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus
asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to
be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the
kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives
birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be
surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’JOHN 3:8
8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you
cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with
everyone born of the Spirit.2 SAMUEL 5:17-25 NLT
17 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king of Israel,
they mobilized all their forces to capture him. But David was told they were
coming, so he went into the stronghold. 18 The Philistines arrived and spread
out across the valley of Rephaim. 19 So David asked the LORD “Should I go
out to fight the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The LORD
replied to David, “Yes, go ahead. I will certainly hand them over to you.”
20 So David went to Baal-perazim and defeated the Philistines there. “The
LORD did it!” David exclaimed. “He burst through my enemies like a
raging flood!” So he named that place Baal-perazim (which means “the Lord
who bursts through”). 21 The Philistines had abandoned their idols there, so
David and his men confiscated them.22 But after a while the Philistines returned and again spread out across
the valley of Rephaim. 23 And again David asked the LORD what to do.
“Do not attack them straight on,” the LORD replied. “Instead, circle
around behind and attack them near the poplar trees. 24 When you hear
a sound like marching feet in the tops of the poplar trees, be on the
alert! That will be the signal that the LORD is moving ahead of you to
strike down the Philistine army.” 25 So David did what the LORD
commanded, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from
Gibeon to Gezer.
God is UNBELIEVABLE.
ACTS 3:1-6
1 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time
of prayer- at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame
from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful,
where he was put every day to beg from those going into the
temple courts. 3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he
asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John.
Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his
attention, expecting to get something from them. 6 Then Peter said,
“Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the
name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”ACTS 3:7-10
7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s
feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk.
Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and
praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the
temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and
amazement at what had happened to him.
