THE MAKING OF THIS MIRACLE.
LUKE 17:11-14
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border
between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men
who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a
loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14 When he saw them, he
said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were going, they
were cleansed.
THE MAKING OF THIS MIRACLE.
You must be desperate enough.
You must trust God before you see the end result.
LUKE 17:14
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.”
And as they were going, they were cleansed.MARK 5:24-29
24 So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around
him. 25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for
twelve years. 26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many
doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew
worse.MARK 5:27-29
27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and
touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will
be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body
that she was freed from her suffering.
THE POINT OF THIS MIRACLE.
LUKE 17:15-19
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in
a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him - and he
was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are
the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this
foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made
you well.”
