PSALM 19:9-11
9 The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they
are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb. 11 By
them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great
reward.

PSALM 119:97-105

97 Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. 98 Your
commands are always with me and make me wiser than my
enemies. 99 I have more insight than all my teachers, for I
meditate on your statutes. 100 I have more understanding than the
elders, for I obey your precepts. 101 I have kept my feet from
every evil path so that I might obey your word. 102 I have not
departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to
my mouth! 104 I gain understanding from your precepts;
therefore I hate every wrong path. 105 Your word is a lamp for
my feet, a light on my path.

PROVERBS 23:23
Buy the truth and do not sell it.

MATTHEW 10:34-37

34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not
come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn “ ‘a man
against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law
against her mother-in-law 36 a man’s enemies will be the members of his
own household.’ 37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than
me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more
than me is not worthy of me.

THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUTH:

1. Truth RESTRICTS.

2. Truth OFFENDS.

3. Truth SAVES.

JOHN 8:31-36

31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my
teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and
the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s
descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that
we shall be set free?” 34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who
sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family,
but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be
free indeed.
