JOHN 20:18-23
18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the
Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her. 19 On the
evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with
the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood
among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20 After he said this, he showed
them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the
Lord. 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I
am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive
the Holy Spirit.
1. PANIC.
2 TIMOTHY 1:7
‘For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power,
love, and self-control.’ISAIAH 41:10
‘So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for
I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will
uphold you with my righteous right hand’.
2. PRESENCE.
