PSALM 1:1-6

1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the
wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the company of
mockers! 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he
meditates day and night. 3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by
streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not
wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. 4 The wicked are not so,
but they are like chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the
wicked will not stand in the judgment, or sinners in the assembly of the
righteous. 6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way
of the wicked will perish.

EPHESIANS 1:3-8
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has
blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in
Christ. 4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be
holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption
to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will
- 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the
One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that
he lavished on us.

A LIFE LIVED GOD’S WAY

a) Don’t WALK with the CROWD.

• We are to find pleasure in God’s Word.

PROVERBS 4:10-13

10 Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be
many. 11 I instruct you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight
paths. 12 When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run,
you will not stumble. 13 Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it
well, for it is your life.

PSALM 18:303
30 As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields
all who take refuge in him.

• We are to be shaped by God’s Word.

THE BLESSINGS OF A LIFE LIVED GOD’S WAY

a) You are FRUITFUL.

b) You are DURABLE

MATTHEW 7:24-27
