Colossians 4: 2-6

² Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. ³ And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. ⁴ Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. ⁵ Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. ⁶ Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

1) Pray for opportunities to share the gospel (verse 2-4)

a- Devote yourselves to prayer (verse 2)

b- Pray that God will open doors for the message of Christ (verse 3)

c- Pray for open mouths to proclaim the message clearly (verse 4)

2) Live your life in light of the gospel (verse 5)

a- Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders

b- Make the most of every opportunity

3) Guard your speech for the sake of the gospel (verse 6)

a- Let your conversation be always full of grace

b- Let your words be seasoned with salt

c- Be prepared to share the gospel with anyone at any time
