1 PETER 1:14
14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.

EPHESIANS 2:1-2 NASB
1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air [this is referring to Satan], of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

JOHN 1:9-13
9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the
world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but
his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those
who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of
God 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a
husband’s will, but born of God.

CHILDISH BEHAVIORS THAT WE SHOULDN’T HAVE:

f. You have little knowledge and understanding.

HEBREWS 5:11-14
11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear
to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In fact, though
by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach
you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need
milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk, being still an
infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. 14
But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained
themselves to distinguish good from evil.
