REVELATION 21:1
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first
heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there
was no more sea.ISAIAH 57:19-21
19 Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the LORD. “And I will heal
them.” 20 But the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire and mud. 21 “There is no peace,” says my
God, “for the wicked.”EZEKIEL 28:7-8
7 I am going to bring foreigners against you, the most ruthless of nations;
they will draw their swords against your beauty and wisdom and pierce
your shining splendor.
8 They will bring you down to the pit, and you will die a violent death in
the heart of the seas.MICAH 7:19
19 Once again you will have compassion on us. You will trample our sins
under your feet and throw them into the depths of the sea!REVELATION 13:1
1 The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out
of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns,
and on each head a blasphemous name.REVELATION 21:2-5
2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And
I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place
is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his
people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will
wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or
mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”
Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and
true.”REVELATION 21:2-5
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal,
flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the
great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing
twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree
are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The
throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve
him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There
will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the
sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and
ever.
EXODUS 13:17-18
17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road
through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, “If
they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” 18 So
God led the people around by the desert road towards the Red Sea.
