1. SEEK THE GUIDANCE OF GOD.
ACTS 16:6-8
6 Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia
and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the
word in the province of Asia. 7 When they came to the border of
Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would
not allow them to. 8 So they passed by Mysia and went down to
Troas.
2 CORINTHIANS 2:12
12 Now when I went to Troas to preach the gospel
of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a
door for me.
a) You have to be willing to do what you know God wants you to do RIGHT NOW.
b) You have to be willing to do whatever God tells you to do BEFORE He tells you to do it.
JOHN 7:15-17
15 The Jews there were amazed and asked, “How did this man get
such learning without having been taught?” 16 Jesus answered, “My
teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.
17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether
my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
PSALM 119:105
‘Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.’
ACTS 16:9-10
9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing
and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 After
Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia,
concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
