COLOSSIANS 4:10
10 My fellow prisoner Aristarchus sends you his greetings, as does
Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. (You have received instructions about
him; if he comes to you, welcome him.)
ACTS 12:11-16
11 Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the
Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from
everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.” 12 When this had
dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also
called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying. 13 Peter
knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer the
door. 14 When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed she ran
back without opening it and exclaimed, “Peter is at the door!” 15 “You’re out
of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said,
“It must be his angel.” 16 But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened
the door and saw him, they were astonished.
ACTS 13:1-5
1 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas,
Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up
with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. 2 While they were worshiping the Lord and
fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work
to which I have called them.” 3 So after they had fasted and prayed, they
placed their hands on them and sent them off. 4 The two of them, sent on their
way by the Holy Spirit, went down to Seleucia and sailed from there to
Cyprus. 5 When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in
the Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their assistant. 6 They
traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos.
ACTS 13:13
13 From Paphos, Paul and his companions sailed to Perga in
Pamphylia, where John left them to return to Jerusalem. 14 From
Perga they went on to Pisidian Antioch.
ACTS 15:36-38
36 Sometime later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the
believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and
see how they are doing.” 37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called
Mark, with them, 38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he
had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the
work. 39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company.
Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus, 40 but Paul chose Silas and
left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord. 41 He went
through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

2 TIMOTHY 4:11
9 Do your best to come to me quickly…, 11 Only Luke is with
me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is
helpful to me in my ministry.
